Family Firearms Safety Class

Class Schedule: Monthly, select Sunday afternoons

Class Description: Family Firearm Safety is designed for parents and children (6 years old – 17 years old) who want to learn and practice firearm safety together. This class covers the 4 Universal Firearm safety rules, Child Access Prevention laws, and the importance of responsible storage in the home. Families will also participate in a live-fire session, giving both parents and children the chance to apply what they’ve learned in a safe and supportive environment.

Key Details:

  • Aimed for families with children 6 to 17 years old.
  • 1 Parent or Legal Guardian must accompany each child to the class.
  • Rentals will be available, but families are encouraged to bring or purchase their own firearms to train with.
  • Only .22LR caliber firearms will be used.
  • The gun-range fees will be included in the class price.
  • Ammunition will be provided during the range portion.
  • A digital copy of “Children’s Safety & Firearms Fundamentals” workbook will also be provided to participants.

  • All class sales are final and non-refundable. Please contact the General Manager and the Instructor if you have questions.
  • A minimum of 3 students is required to ensure a class will be held.
  • Students may be rescheduled to a later date if the minimum number of students is not met.
  • Students are offered no more than one voluntary reschedule. Involuntary rescheduling, such as the case of the Instructor being unavailable, is the only exception to be afforded additional chances to retake the class later.
  • No-call/No-show means the student will not be given a rescheduling slot. He/she must purchase another slot for them to take the class at another date.
